This photo is from Lights on the Lake, on Onondaga Lake in Liverpool, NY, just outside of Syracuse.

This next photo is a house in another Syracuse suburb.

There may or may not be a point to this juxtaposition.  Actually, I suppose there are several, but I don’t have any one particular point in mind. As it is, children love both.

Personally, I enjoyed taking both shots and taking advantage of the night time capabilities a then week-old D700.  The Lights on the Lake shot was taken from inside a (slow) moving car;.  For the house photo, I jumped out of the car.  That either shot was possible, hand held, is a wonder.  Fairly light processing on both.
