Earlier this week Edith Levy published a beautiful shot of a glass ceiling in a shopping mall in Rome, and she noted that she doesn’t “recall any shopping centres that look like this here at home.” True enough. But in Vegas?
Well.
These are the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. And I’m not saying they are as elegant, restrained or refined as the one she saw in Rome, but, they sure are something.
The top shot is HDR. The rest are lightly edited in Aperture. All taken with the Fuji x100.

11 Nov 2011Looks like the inside is just as impressive as the outside! I saw the outside back in August and it was amazing in my book! Good stuff Mark!

11 Nov 2011I love the image with the guy on the bench. His position offsets the image’s symmetry so well.

11 Nov 2011Ah…you are so right my friend. The Forum Shops are indeed gorgeous and you’ve captured them beautifully in all their glory.
