It has been a while since I posted some street work. This has been sitting in my library for over a year. I crossed the street to get a shot closer to the couple, and meant to get even closer but traffic interfered.

3 Dec 2011I like this shot Mark. You’ve captured a nice display of urban stuff . . . motion, calm and the bike gives great balance.

3 Dec 2011Thanks, Mark. It’s luck as much as anything else, but I also like the way the woman and cab are moving in opposite directions.

3 Dec 2011Don’t you love when you find old photos, that you forgot you had, and realize how awesome they are?
I know this was taken in NYC, but in may ways it looks like streets in Toronto, Ontario. Great shot. π

3 Dec 2011This is a really nice street scene, Mark. I like how the trees have framed this with the couple and pedestrian in the center. The B&W treatment also gives this a bit of a timeless feel. Nice pull from the archives. π

4 Dec 2011Great shot. The inclusion of the traffic and other elements adds life but also isolates the couple.
