Coney Island is a fairly small area, and as I previously mentioned, much of its old structures have already been razed, so while it is fascinating to photograph, there are not so many subjects. In addition to presenting the same subject in different styles, as I have already done, I am sometimes going to show the same elements from different views. This has a glancing view of Nathan’s on the left, and a long side view of the subway terminal on the right distant. This is looking north on Stillwell avenue across Surf Aveue.
As with all of the shots this week, this was taken with a Diana F+ plastic lens camera and Velvia 100 cross processed film, scanned to show the film edge to edge including the sprockets, because that’s how it was exposed.
