Lately my processing mode on these urbex images is to push things out there with some extreme filters, and then pull them back almost to normal before I’m done. That’s what happened here — I added some extreme tones and colors, only to remove most of what I added in later steps. The funny thing is that I’ve tried cutting out the middle part and it doesn’t work for me.

9 Oct 2012I just love this. Great drama in those dark corners, Mark. I know exactly what you mean with your processing technique, I do similar here on my end. I also love how the outside is perfectly exposed in contrast to the inside. What a great, great shot!
