Classic Brooklyn Bridge

I’ve lived in or very near to New York City for 50 years, and by “very near” I mean within a 10 minute walk of the city line.  For 4 of those years I lived within a similar 10 minute walk of the Brooklyn Bridge. On top of that, my primary hobby is photography.

Yet until about 10 days ago I had never taken this classic shot of the Brooklyn Bridge, that every visitor and every photographer has in his or her portfolio. I took this during the Google Plus 2nd Anniversary Photo Walk in  New York on June 29, on Kodak TMax 100 film and a Fuji Medium Format rangefinder.

  1. Great image, Mark. Classic film, view, camera and tones. Makes me want to get my TLR out for some nostalgic stuff.

  2. Nice shot, Mark Garbowski.

  3. Dig it! Like the square crop, too! Good stuff!
