Interstate Highway I-95 is not particularly scenic or visually interesting. But it is the only choice, really, to drive between NYC and Florida, so that’s what we have taken the last 2 years for our family trip to Walt Disney World. Previously we flew, but my wife and I both just became fed up with the hassles and indignities of flying and so we both now avoid it as much as possible.

I came across this near the end of our first day of driving down, just a bit south of the “South of the Border” complex in South Carolina, and barely managed to grab the shot as we zoomed by on the way to our hotel for the night. It’s good to have a wife who is happy to share the driving.

In other news, I just “upgraded” my WordPress installation to version 3.9, and they seem to have removed very basic image display features, such as resizing. It seems quite stupid and there’s a bit of a revolution brewing in the forums, although some are blaming a plugin called TinyMCE. I’m not sure what’s what but a basic task just got harder, and if anyone has ideas or solutions I’d love to hear them.
