I misplaced my lens hood for most of out trip. For many of my shots it makes no difference but as it happens that weekend I spent a lot of time shooting while facing the light. It’s not the worst thing, sometimes a little flare is exactly what you want, but I still regret I didn’t have the choice more times during the trip.
