Unless I surprise myself, this will close out my little potato photo project. For background on it read here.

I came up with the idea for this image almost immediately.  I knew I had the BB-8 toy, thought about ways to incorporate it, and very quickly realized that a pair of properly sized red potatoes could work very well. I was lucky in that our batch of red potatoes had such a perfectly matched and sized pair.

This is a silly little photo in some ways, but I am nevertheless as proud of it as almost any photo I have taken.  Everything — lighting, background, color, subject and composition — just came together exactly the way I wanted.
