I very much appreciate that Radio City Music Hall has kept its famous signage lt during the lockdown.  Pretty much every other theatre in midtown is dark, and understandably so.   Somebody has to pay to keep the lights on,, and with no shows, no tickets, and no crowds, that’s an unnecessary expense. 

But Radio City never turns the lights off.  In fact, the one time I left my office and saw it dark I found it worthwhile enough to feature here.  That rare instance was apparently caused by a storm. I consider it a public service that they add some light to dark times. The neighborhood near where I work is pretty depressing otherwise.
