Ominous Alley

It’s broad daylight and pretty well lit despite the shadows, but something about this alley is not at all inviting.

  1. I sure would not go down there, no matter what time of day! I like that little sun burst just barely visible on the tracks. Very nice image.

  4. Excellent shot today, really love it. The elevated tracks create a beautiful vanishing point through the fence!

  6. The view through the fence is awesome here Mark, what great drama! Love the shadows at play on the ground, too. Really great photo, my friend.

  7. Nice catch! I don’t know that I would have thought to shoot from that angle. Love the sun burst!

  8. You create amazingly compelling images.

I’m lusting for the 14-24mm [D700 would be nice too]. I just am growing very very sick of my sigma 10-20mm image quality. My eye has become better trained and I’m really noticing its shortcomings now.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. Scott, thanks for this comment and the one you left in the “Out of Phase” post. I’m sorry they were caught in the Askismet spam filter and that it took me a couple of days to notice.
