Inside The M Train

This is the final installment of my elevated M Train series. I rode the last leg of the trip between the Fresh Pond Road station and the Metropolitan Avenue station heading home. On a Sunday afternoon, pretty much all of the cars except for the front two were empty, because everybody getting off at the last stop sits in front for a quicker exit.  That gave me the opportunity to take this shot of the empty train car as we travelled that last part of the journey.

  1. Cool colours running throughout this shot mark, I love the slight angle you’ve decided to give it too. 🙂

  2. I was in new York recently, I always had full cars, standing room only. Your shot is great but I think all the faces make a great shot also.

  3. Very nice shot! Love the light coming through the windows and hitting the floor.

  4. I really like the light coming through the windows casting onto the floor. It adds to the story.
