Continuing in a new week with the images from my foggy photowalk along the Brooklyn waterfront between the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, and also testing out Lightroom as an alternative to Aperture. I wanted to get away from the black and white that these foggy bridge images keep pulling me towards, and the color in this street sign seemed to want to stay yellow, so this was a good choice.
This is an HDR made in Photoshop and then finished off processing in Lightroom and also using a combination of filters from both OnOne and Nik.
NOTICES
I will announce the winner of the free print contest tomorrow, and today everyone should go check out my buddy Jim Denham’s blog to see the latest round of our friendly HDR collaboration, which shows off a gorgeous shot of Willow River Falls in Hudson, Wisconsin.

11 Dec 2012Really like this one, Mark. The overall color is pretty dramatic and the sign really stands out. But, I’ll bet a monochrome with a bit more contrast would work nicely as well.
