It has not been a particularly rough or mild winter here in NY. It seems to have been average so far both in terms of snow and cold. But I’m ready for it to be over. It doesn’t help that my family and I decided to delay our winter break trip to Orlando, which would normally take place this week. I’m ready for some warmth and I’m ready for a family vacation. Both will come, in due time. Meanwhile, I take some solace in looking at this photo  from last June. This guy looks pretty relaxed on his mini-break, and the shorts and light clothing look so appealing right now.
