A Question of Expressiveness

Look at their faces, of course. But then concentrate on their hands. And then answer for yourself the question of which is more expressive.

As I mentioned yesterday, I am likely to take next week off from posting, and may very well skip tomorrow. I expect to be back April 8, with some slight chance I might pop in for a post during that time.  A happy and blessed Passover to my Jewish friends who are in the midst of celebrating that Festival, and a happy and blessed Triduum and Easter to those who celebrate this holy period. And if you’ve been foregoing something for Lent, take heart and persevere just a few more days.

  1. This is absolutely terrific, Mark, great expression in both gentlemen! I love your candid work, it really gives us a special glimpse into a moment that is truly fleeting. Great job here, my friend. Hope you have a terrific holiday, and looking forward to seeing you back next month!

  2. A great example of candid photography. I don’t think I would have had the courage to shoot this, but then I would have missed this interchange. Such expressive hands – well captured. Enjoy your break, Mark
