It’s probably a quinceañera, but I cannot be certain. I’ve been photographing in Brooklyn Bridge Park several times before, but this was  my first time in mid-day in June. It was absolutely overrun with photo shoots of wedding parties, senior portraits, engagement shoots, and then more weddings. You’re supposed to have a permit for such uses, and maybe everyone did, but I have some doubts.

I came across this group and found the younger girls amusing themselves while the older members of the party were getting their photos taken up higher. I pointed my camera and they went on autopilot.
