I am always on the lookout for new ways to see and capture the New York Manhattan skyline.

I don’t believe I ever before was able to tag an image with 3 boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.  This image was taken on the Rockaway Peninsula, which is part of Queens,  you can see the Manhattan skyline, and there is  just about the entirety of Brooklyn in between. It was taken this Saturday on a gorgeous clear day. I was out on Rockaway working on a project for a friend, and while driving along the inner shore I saw this view. It was very sunny, and windy as you can see from the water. I love the gorgeous blues in the water.

I never would have guessed that you could see the Manhattan skyline from this vantage point. I cannot believe I have never seen it before.
