Hoboken has a surprisingly large number of painted row houses. It’s sort of an open secret. I went there a few weeks ago hoping to wander around most of the morning but some unpredicted rain cut my trip short, so I only grabbed this shot and one more before packing it in. This is on one end of Washington Street, which is the main drag, about a block away from Carlo’s Bakery of Cake Boss fame. I did not even get a chance to explore most of the more residential streets.
I have visited Hoboken before for photo outings, but mostly for the waterfront and NYC skyline shots. I will be heading back at some point to complete my unfinished business.
