I upgraded the OS on my Macbook over the weekend before doing so on my Desktop to make sure the new Photos App wouldn’t muck up my existing iPhoto and Aperture libraries. It didn’t. And for my brief testing of Photos (which is crap)* I used a random folder of images from this Lake Mohonk visit in July 2012.  I had forgotten about this set of evening lakeside images I took, and was pleasantly surprised to find a few gems.
Taken with the first Fuji x camera, the FinePix x100, the day after I turned 50.

As far as I can see, the main purpose of Photos is to entice people to pay overpriced rates for cloud storage.
