Colfax has a Main Street, and like many in small towns it is a bit run down. The buildings look old and not every storefront is occupied. On top of that, some of the ongoing concerns are quite unassuming.

We only stopped along this area at breakfast time, so we never seriously considered Sol Vallarta, nor did I explore very closely. The sign does not look like it has seen any care in decades; I had to clean it up to make it legible in the image.

Yet, look this place up on Yelp and you will see it is very much alive and gets strong reviews and has a nice story behind it. Sorry for doubting you SV; if I ever come by again I’ll stop for dinner.
