I have seen this building and storefront show up on other New York photoblogs. This is the home of Zena and her daughter Sylvia who do psychic readings and related services. I certainly don’t believe in or recommend such practitioners, but I found the scene delightful. I think I overdid things a bit on processing, layering effect over effect until I got to a point of no return and just kept adding more, to a further point where I think some of them cancelled each other out.
On an unrelated note, and unusual for me, I have a new music recommendation. I like music but pretty much stopped discovering new acts a couple of decades ago, but I recently became aware of a new band from north London called Yuck, whose first album of the same name
