Every time I publish am image with train tracks in it I think of Johnny Cash, but when I review my song library, which has quite a lot of the Man in Black in it, I rarely find something with a title or lyric that ends up feeling appropriate for the image. In fact, this might be the first time I actually succeeded in the endeavor.

16 Jun 2011Well that is all it took and now I’m firing up some Johnny Cash. Photo goes very well with the title as well 🙂

16 Jun 2011I too love the vanishing point… it contrasts a lot with the rest of the photo; while everything looks somber and somewhat scary, back there we have this bright green tree that might be the hope at the end of the tunnel.
Bravo!

16 Jun 2011My late father was a train fan of immense proportions. We had a mini HO railroad set in our basement of our house when I was growing up. I think his affection affected me because I just love these sorts of images. This one in particular really evoked some emotions, almost lonely feelings…. what a wonderful photo my friend!
