Reflected Dawn

I went to Roosevelt Island in November to shoot the dawn, and found a lot of new buildings have been built since my last visit a few years ago. It was nice to have some new things to shoot, especially because the sky was borderline boring. There was some decent orange color when the sun rose, but there were no clouds and no real color variation. The sky was orange, and then blue, with the briefest hint of a purple transition in between.

So the sky reflected in this new structure was actually more interesting, to me at least, than the actual thing.

  1. Great capture, reflections are always cool when the sky does not cooperate, well done
