I visited the Gowanus neighborhood in Brooklyn three months apart in 2019. In January I shot exclusively with a 50mm lens. When I returned in April I used a very wide 15mm. I shot some of the same subjects on both visits, but some, like this, are only in one of the project catalogs. This vehicle probably was not sitting in this spot for three months, but even if it were, a super wide 15mm is made for this type of subject. I would have walked right by this vehicle with nothing but a 50mm in my hand.
