I spent some time organizing older Lightroom catalogs recently, and ended up picking out a couple of old photos to post now.  I took this 5 years ago in the summer of 2016 when I first visited Roosevelt Island.  You are looking at an obscure bit of the Queens waterfront on the East River. The colorful patio is part of the titular bar and grill, As best as I can gather the Saboroso brand no longer exists, and was sold, perhaps with the property, to another business. I’m glad they kept the sign up rather than painting over it.
