This is the view from the opposite direction from this image, taken from the Grand Avenue Bridge and facing east instead of west. Newtown Creek separates Queens and Brooklyn for as long as it runs, which is probably 20-25% of the total border length. If I’m oriented correctly, everything in the near distance from the school buses to the right is Brooklyn; everything in the far distance or to the left of the school buses is Queens. We’re facing somewhat southeast towards the sunrise a few weeks ago.
